Pregnant with dc 3..
Last was 19m ago.
When they did booking with dc2. I had to tell them my DF had had a few blood clots. However it was more than likely linked to an accident he'd had and surgery after.. Despite being a few yrs after. They said that's fine no worries.

Now pg with dc3 told on booking again when they ask history and she said not to worry as his clots were a few yrs ago.
Now 28 weeks and my DF has just Been diagnosed out of the blue with another blood clot.. In his leg. Which he also has varicose veins in

I too have varicose veins which lately are causing lots of aching and pain due to pregnancy.

Any advice.? Do I tell MW or. Would it be irrelevant still?

I'd tell the midwife.

Is the ache deep inside your leg? Can you put your foot down on the floor without your calf hurting? Does your calf feel hot? If so, call the hospital.

When I first had my booking appointment I told my midwife about my family history of blood clots. My gp had told me to tell them as she had a feeling that because of it they may want me to go on a form of blood thinner.
So my dad had a heat attack at 43, my mom had a blood clot on her lung during a c-section with her third. A year later she got one on her leg. My sister also got a blood clot on her leg when she was 23.
My midwife didn’t seem concerned and I still come back low risk.
I am paranoid however at the thought of having a c-section because of what happened to my mom but fingers crossed I don’t need one.

Good luck xxx

My legs just ache all over. No sign of clot. Just touching my legs or wearing jeans hurts but not unbearable. Been like it for 2 yrs now. But worse when PG
I have mw this week so I'll tell her.
