Positive line pregnancy test negative at the hospital

Hi,
I wanted to know if anyone has been through anything similar like this...

2 weeks ago, I did a pregnancy test and got a positive. That would have been me 4 weeks (Friday) the following Wednesday I started bleeding, not heavy not enough to fill a pad. I went to the EPC and got a negative test there so they said I miscarried & to do a test after 1 week and if it comes out positive to call and go back. I thought I miscarried, so I went back to work and just tryed moving on.. untill I started feeling sick and feeling very pregnant... like my previous pregnancy ( son is 2 ). I did a clear blue pregnancy test the following Monday night and got a positive straight away this got me confused, I did another test (first response) on Wednesday which would have made it 1 week and also that was positive 2 lines, then I even brought the cheaper brands that are £1/70p. So total I've done 5 tests and all positive. This morning I went to the EPC and when they did a urine test it came out negative ???????? Only thing I could think was the urine didn't have enough time because in the space of 1 hour I went toilet 3 times, so surely if I'm only 6 weeks it won't come up straight away? Am I right the nurse said to me to do a clear blue digital test and when they come up saying 3 + that's when the hospital can detect it... had anyone thought they had a miscarriage but then gone on to have a sucessful pregnancy? Or has anyone got positives at home but negative at the EPC ? So confused

Hi I has this in Feb and i in the end went back to epu and asked for bloods to be done as tests were still positive and it did progress to 3+ but took alot longer although mine ended up being an ectopic so i would definitely go back and get them to check i had no symptoms i was having an ectopic other than exactly what you said above xx

I'm really confused now, because I did a digital this morning and it said not pregnant. But all the ones with the lines are coming positive but at the hospital it's coming negative aswel

If you was around 6 weeks pregnant a cb digital would be picking it up.. your positive tests are they getting darker etc? I only ask as you could of had a chemical pregnancy. The only other thing is after a mc normally I'm sure its around 2 weeks they say before you will start getting negative tests. It seems like a very tricky situation.

I would ring them again and ask if you could have blood tests done although they may just refer you to your gp x

I would be 6 weeks today but I did one this morning and it didn't pick up. It came out negative. That's what I thought hit maybe I had a chemical pregnancy but I'm still having very strong pregnancy symtoms which is the tricky part the EPC said untill they don't get a postitive test there they can't do anything.. theyv told me to test again in a week and if it's positive go back.. I'm just really confused because I should have my midwife appointment this Wednesday and now I feel like I should cancel it... but then I don't think I should because I feel so pregnant ? Very hard situation
