Miscarriage/ruptured cyst/conceiving again?

I recently just found out I was pregnant. It was our first cycle trying to conceive and we were over the moon. we told our families and and booked doctors appointments. A week after finding out I started spotting it was 8pm, within in an hour it was red blood and by midnight I was passing out in a&e. I spent the night in hospital on IV fluids because my blood pressure was really low. The pain was excruciating, the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced in my life. It’s two days later and the pain is gone but I’m still bleeding. The docs said my hcg was 11. She said it could just be a very early pregnancy which is why they could see nothing on my scan, and that the cause of the bleeding and pain could have been a ruptured ovarian cyst and that there could still be a viable pregnancy. I know that I was 4weeks and 6 days when the spotting started and when I got my positive digital test I would have needed a hcg of 50. I also had a scan one month ago that showed I didn’t have a cyst anymore. I had a cyst a few months earlier and felt that rupture but that was nothing compared to this. Is it possible I could still be pregnant? I’m trying not to give into false hope.

I had a ruptured cyst when I was 11 weeks pregnant with DD and omg it was the most excruciating pain I’ve ever felt. DD was perfectly fine though.

Have you taken a pregnancy test recently?

I’m a bit confused about the timeline. You did the digital test first and then later had a hcg level of 11? How many dpo would you be now?

I had a cyst while pregnant with my youngest. It ruptured at 6ish weeks, then refilled and twisted at 9ish. They drained it and it still refilled and had to be removed via keyhole at 13 weeks. The pain of it rupturing and twisting was genuinely worse than childbirth

I got my first positive digital test at 11dpo, the spotting started on 18dpo, they did the blood test on 18dpo and told me it was only 11. I’m 20dpo now. They said that my scan looked normal and that I only had a small amount of free fluid. Wouldn’t they be able to tell on the scan if it was ruptured cyst though ?

Not necessarily. My first scan was exactly the same - a little bit of free fluid - I had to go back at 7 weeks to make sure there was a viable pregnancy (which there was, she is 6.5 years old now)

I didn’t have bloods done, but I had very inconsistent pregnancy tests in the run up.

Thankyou for telling me your stories, for me it didn’t work out. I went for a blood test again today and my levels had dropped to 2. I knew they were going to say that because I did a frer and a digital before I went and both were negative, so I was prepared.
it’s not put DH or myself off from trying but we’ll probably leave it a few months.
