Hello

Pls can I confirm if it’s normal to have some light brown discharge and some old blood upon wiping at 3 weeks pregnant?

By 3 weeks pregnant do you mean the week before your period would normally be due, or 3 weeks from the date of conception?

Hi op, when was your last period and do you know when you ovulated? I’m asking as it may be an implantation bleed.

Usually there’s nothing to worry about unless your getting red bleeding with heavy cramps

Hello, I had this on/off for several weeks in first trimester, I called the midwife/ early pregnancy unit maybe? I forget exactly, and was told to keep an eye on it but not much they can do realistically so early on. All was fine though. Said pregnancy is now a five year old.

@AWaspOnAWindowReturns @OrangeHue

I’m 3 weeks 5 days from last period. Due on Sunday but had 4 positives even a digital saying 1-2 weeks pregnant. Gonna do more tests in the morning but I don’t believe 4 different branded tests can say I’m pregnant and it not be right!?

@Justasecondnow ah did you! That’s reassuring. I’ve read it can be your body getting rid of the old blood

I had this too OP! Now 15 weeks and ticking along nicely.

I actually had brown discharge and spotting until 8 weeks, and bright red wipes on two occasions as well. I think it's often your body just getting rid of old blood as you say.

I'm sure it's fine, but if it continues and you are worried go to Epu and ask for a scan. As you are so early on you might not be able to see anything yet, but it'll confirm the yolk sac is in the right place etc.

The waiting is really hard - be nice to yourself and get lots of rest!!
