I think that as long as it's not uncomfortable you're ok - AFAIK!!

I'm still sleeping on mine at some point most nights & I'm 28 weeks tomorrow.

Scampynoodle · 17/08/2007 16:51

Thank Gawd. I'm 18 weeks too, CazzyBaby, and often wake up on my tum even though I go to sleep a million other ways. I wake up wondering whether the baby's got a squashed nose or has been forced to reside in my colon...

Sx

he he

I am getting worried that my baby is getting squished, but i guess they are well protected in there!!

for when you do get bigger, heres a tip

lie on your side with one leg on the side and bent, iykwim.....worked great for me and i still do it now, can only get comfy on my belly lol

froozykins · 17/08/2007 19:56

get a memory foam mattress topper, i did and it is so comfy, no more painful hips or back and i can sleep on my front which means i sleep better because im not tossing and turning all night trying to get into a comfy position.

potoroo · 17/08/2007 19:57

I slept on my tum until it got too big for it to be comfortable. Around the same time, baby communicated that he/she didn't like it by kicking very hard whenever I rolled over onto my tummy.

So now my side is the only option (sigh)

i slept on my tummy till i burst!
my dd now 14mo and will only sleep on her tummy too!

Jbck · 17/08/2007 22:55

I've a foam mattress and I'm much comfier this time round than with DD pre mattress of wonder .
I'm generally comfier in bed but this time I don't have a pillow between my legs yet either. Unfortunately DH says I'm so zonked & spread out he can't bring himself to move me when he comes to bed & usually goes to the spare room.
