Pain and bleeding at 14 weeks

Hey guys,

I'm 14w5d today.

Last night I noticed light spotting. This morning I've woken up to pain in the left lower abdomen side and increased bleeding. It filled up my last pantyliner. I haven't had any bleeding through this pregnancy, but now it seems to be more than spotting and occasional gushing feeling.

I've been advised to go to the ER at heading there now.

Could anyone please let me know if they experienced this?

I never had any bleeding through my last pregnancy but have had a previous miscarriage.

I had constant bleeding throughout this pregnancy, turns out i had a haematoma where the baby had implanted, the bleeding subsided sbout 15-16 weeks after i lost a few clots! Head over to the hospital like they've said but it very well could be nothing. Good luck Thanks

No experience, but didn't want to read and run. Hope all is well with baby. Flowers

I’ve had a massive bleed and 8 weeks with cramps and pain and at 13 weeks, I’m currently 21 weeks and baby is healthy.

There may be an underlying issue, mine was an abnormal shaped womb and a small area of separation around the placenta.
Good luck!

No experience of this but just want to say that I hope everything is ok xxx

Thanks everyone I appreciate the responses. I went in and she did an internal examination where she saw blood on the cervix. She said that the neck of the womb didn't appear open so just to use pantyliners or pads for the bleeding and the earliest they could fit me in for a scan is Monday. I said that's fine but immediately after leaving booked a private scan for half 1 at a private company.

Baby seems fine although I'm measuring 15+2 when I know I'm 14+5. I know that's a ridiculously minor change. Also she's told me she could tell what the gender was and if I wanted to know. I said yeah, but very much doubt it to be 99% certain. Will attend Monday scan

I had this yesterday too. I have had a scan where they said everything is fine and they could see no reason for the bleeding. I need to book in for an internal exam to check my cervix as they thought that's where it's coming from.

So glad your scan came up well, and you've got another on Monday to confirm.

It's all so stressful isn't it!

@mininionsteve Definitely get an internal exam done. They should have done that first I think. Hope all is well! x

Thanks @girlanonymous i think it's finally stopping, trying to rest as much as possible in case that will help. Will call on monday and get an appointment. Does it matter wether it's a midwife or a practice nurse do you think?
