Everyone's stretch marks are different from pre birth to post birth because everyone's skin is different.
I got really bad red massive ones with my 2nd hes now 3half and over the years they went less red and wasnt as noticeable. Pregnant with num 3 and the good thing is I havnt got as much this time because my stomach stretched so much last time x

I am on my third pregnancy with very small age gaps and have zero stretch marks. I use a homemade cream. And yes it’s from the cream. I used it my first pregnancy zero marks. Didn’t use it my second to prove a point. Loaded with marks. After using the cream again they have faded and no new ones have turned up.
I gain 5 to 6 stone each pregnancy too.

These are the faded marks from my second pregnancy which actually mostly appeared AFTER I had the baby from the loss of belly. They use to be bright red and purple it was wild.

I wish I took before pictures but I was super embarrassed. My friends I make the cream for have zero marks as well

I have zero marks from my first pregnancy or so far in this one (35 weeks), but didn't use any cream - my consultant said it was basically genetic predisposition whether you got them/how bad they were, and creams wouldn't do anything except placebo effect so I never bothered. My friends who did get them mention that they have faded to a fairly unnoticeable silvery-colour over the past couple of years. Hope yours improve the way you want them Smile

Another for creams not working the damage is much deeper in the skin. The creams might make them feel more comfortable though.
I didn't get any with my last and haven't so far with my second but no one else in my family has so I think genetics play huge role in this.

I have heard that microneedling is supposed to be amazing as it breaks down the scar tissue and laser supposed to be good. My friend had really bad ones but they went white after a few years and aren't that noticeable now.
