Changing jobs while TTC

I've been with my current employer for 7 and a half years now, wanted to leave pretty much the whole time but stayed for the security, alrightish money and the people.

Feeling very restless here but also TTC and worry about changing jobs and falling pregnant right away in probationary period and not being entitled to maternity pay etc. My notice period here is 8 weeks too! Should I just focus on one thing at a time and stick around a little longer?

Advice please!

Personally I would stick it out. I got made redundant during my maternity leave 18 months ago with my first. We now want to start TTC #2 but I'm holding on until I've been in my current job for 2 years for the really really good maternity benefits. Having had pretty good mat pay at my last place It really makes all the difference having security and somewhat of an income during maternity leave xx

I agree with the above.

Something I have also considered but to me, the security of maternity pay and everything else is more important than a new job. I would priortise one or the other, not both - if that makes sense.

Stick where you are and consider changing after Mat leave :)
