Just wondered if I could connect with other mummies to be who are feeling randomly anxious and emotional during their pregnancy.

I'm 18 weeks with my second baby girl, and naturally anxious outside of pregnancy anyway, but have recently been feeling really overly emotional and overthinking everything to the point I struggle with sleep etc. I know it's normal and hormones-crazy.. and I have brilliant support in my partner and family. But sometimes just knowing others are feeling the same, is the most relaxing thing. Smile

Op I know you may be due just after but you should join the march 2020 babies thread lovely supporting women in there and we all feel it :)

Had to reply to this. IV only just got my bfp. I suffer with severe anxiety and had a horrific MC in may and a little bit of me is terrified and I'm hoping I'll be able to keep it together throughout this pregnancy!! Anxiety is a bleedy killer but the more we talk about it the easier it is to reassure each other!! Your most definitely not alone lovely ❤️ xx

Snap! Second girl due in March, my anxiety was through the roof before my 20 week scan. I sobbed at the end due to the relief of everything being OK. My consultant said its hormones and they start to settle soon so fingers crossed!

I'm 21 weeks - really anxious, getting a bit down. I've spoken to a midwife here that specializes in MH - they are very helpful.

15 weeks pregnant here and struggling that my symptoms have subsided a lot!
Had a miscarriage in june and lost all my symptoms for 2 weeks before i found out.
Now currently panicking the same is happening, even though the 12 week scan was fine!
Struggling right now :(

@ejmay90 I really get this. I'm 23 weeks now but when I was about 15 weeks I felt absolutely normal, no sickness, hardly any bump and it worried me because I just didn't feel pregnant any more. I asked a few friends who said they had felt the same. I also haven't had an experience like yours with the miscarriage, so it's no surprise you feel worried about it when you've had that as well. It feels easier now that I have a bump and am getting kicked. I was much more anxious in the run up to the 20 week scan than at the 12 weeks. Hope you can feel a bit better about it. Just wanted you to know that my experience is that it is normal to not have any symptoms in the earlier part of the 2nd trimester. Good luck with everything.

@Kesha thank you so much that has made me feel much better. So hard when you've felt pregnant for so long even just having one symptom to going to nothing :(
That's what I'm looking forward to the bump coming and kicks!
I think because I had early scans I felt better but had nothing since my 12 week so not getting that constant reassurance from then.
I had a massive bloat but it seems to have gone down a bit I dont know if that's normal?
Thank you and congrats on your pregnancy!
