So I'm 5 weeks pregnant and someone local to us was selling their Silver cross Wayfarer pram for £80 so... we've bought it!

It's in immaculate condition... we now have a pram upstairs which I know is supposed to be bad luck but are we stupid?

DH said that even if for whatever reason this pregnancy didn't result in a healthy baby that we would have the pram for whenever it happens again.

We simply couldn't pass up on the bargain!

There’s no such thing as bad luck. And if you really believed in such a thing you wouldn’t have bought it. Don’t let superstition in to your pregnancy, it’s a vulnerable enough time as it is.

Congratulations! Flowers

It’s just a pram, it’s not going to attack you in the middle of the night.

Ignore the naysayers, it’s a bargain and good common sense.

Deffo a bargain! I second what PP have said it's just old crap that say it's bad luck to have this that and the other in the house before baby is born 🙈 dont see what harm having a pram will do lol. Congratulations on your pregnancy also xx

I bought some bits and Bob's before my 12 week scan of the exact same opinion that can always use it on subsequent pregnancy if the worst happened. My mum told me I was crazy and jinxing it but honestly your house your baby your business.

It’s just an fable.. what can a pram do?! My in-laws were so worried about us buying a pram last pregnancy at 16 weeks (Black Friday) that we kept it at my parents house to stop them going on and on about it Hmm

I don’t believe in all that stuff at all.. it’s a pram. It has no control over what your body does with a pregnancy!
