Hi I know everybody is different I'm currently 15 weeks pregnant so I've had my 12 weeks scan a few weeks ago and heart baby's heartbeat last week at midwife appointment I'm just wondering when you start feeling baby move?
I know it's going to be a few more weeks before I feel anything just wondered when everybody else felt movement? And what it feels like? X

Hey!

Mine was possibly about 16/17 weeks, lying on my side my stomach just felt 'different' kind of like a swirling sensation.

It progressively changed to feeling like little 'pops' and then into harder movements which are like a muscle spasm almost but can be seen on the outside now at 24 weeks.

It depends where your placenta is lying too as to when you'll feel movement but hopefully they won't keep you waiting too long! X

i was 21 weeks because my placenta was at the front and also im overweight so think that has an effect on it too.

I think I felt a couple of little movements at 17 weeks - felt like tiny muscle twitches. Now 18 weeks I've felt much more noticeable movements yesterday & today, honestly it feels like a little creature wriggling or squirming around inside me, theres no other way to describe it! Both yesterday & today I felt the strongest movements about 20 mins after eating or after having a coffee, apparently this is common cos the baby's blood sugar goes up when yours does and gives them energy :)

It depends on if it's your first aswell tbh... most FTM's dont really feel baby untill 20week mark or around.
Think with my first was about 20-22 weeks
2nd was probally about 18 weeks ish
This one since around 16 weeks.. little flutters (sometimes feels like gas building up lol) then you will notice harder movements and so on xx
