I cant believe I'm writing this but I just got my BFP on 13dpo after 6 months of trying. I'm 1-2 weeks so veeeerrrryyyy early my AF isn't due until tomorrow, friday or sat (I range from 27-29 days) so really anything could happen at this point.
I'm just looking for some advice really. I've been feeling crampy the past few days and more so today. Is this normal? I hope to god this little bean sticks but I would swear down AF was about to come.
I'm in absolute shock.

Congratulations! I'm 9 weeks. Cramps are very common and you may also experience some light implantation bleeding.

I'm still getting cramps now, that's the womb stretching etc. Take it easy! No stretching or lifting x

Congratultions! X

Congratulations!

The day my AF was due I'd eaten a massive meal so I was in agony with cramps, possibly off lots of food and because I thought AF was coming!

Kept checking all night and all week had a panic everytime I felt anything weird, rushing off to check but cramps were normal for me apparently!

Take it easy and try not to read too much into everything although I know much easier said than done, amazing news!

Congrats! Snap me too just had my BFP, massive shock! I was due Saturday too! So we are in same boat, I’ve just had a headache the last two days! Sore boobs but that’s quite normal for me! I tested 4 days before period due and got two strong lines I can’t believe it!! It’s so weird I want to shout it from the roof tops (but haven’t) this year has been a whirlwind having just got married last month! 😆

Thank you for all the replies. I could barely sleep last night from the complete shock Grin going to call the doc first thing this morning and start organising things. Just praying this little bean sticks and all is well.

Stilltobeseen I’m exactly the same two nights now having had a rubbish sleep! It’s probably contributing to my massive headache! What are all your thoughts on who to tell it’s just my husband and I that know right now but I feel so guilty for not telling my mum and sister, are you planning to tell anyone before the 12 weeks it’s going to be so difficult with Christmas coming up! I’m hoping my 12 week scan is before Christmas! 🙈 xx

Stilltobeseen · 31/10/2019 07:18

Cymrubaby I told my mum because she lives across the country from me, I also told my best friend purely because I need someone who has been pregnant to bounce thought off of. Oh and I have to tell my work right away because I'm a scrub nurse and work with xray, harmful chemicals and lift very, very heavy trays and patients at times so I need to let them know. If i worked in an office or something I wouldn't have told anyone e other than my mum and best friend..and husband of course haha! I definitely don't want to jinx anything

Congratulations! I got my BFP on Sunday AF was due yesterday still in shock 😂 we haven’t told anybody yet but will be soon, we chose five weeks to tell our parents and 12 weeks (which will be Christmas eeeeek) to tell the rest of our family. Little things like that give me something to look forward to. I’ve not had any symptoms really except some stomach aches and feeling a bit ‘off’ but can’t describe it.
This is my first pregnancy how about you ladies? 😊

Cymrubaby · 31/10/2019 07:47

Thanks stilltobeseen, I work in IT And travel a lot, I have a manual job, so I think I’m going to have to also let my boss know. I’m going to tell my mum sister and best friend, and save everyone else for Christmas - lazydogfox I think that’s a lovely idea! Huge congratulations to you too!
Anyone else still testing each morning! I still can’t believe it!!! Husband and I keep randomly laughing! I think he’s feeling like some sort of Adonis! 🤣

Stilltobeseen · 31/10/2019 09:23

Cymrubaby yea it will be nice to have a christmas announcement won't it. Yea I tested again this morning. In total disbelief. Currently on the phone to the midwifery unit to book my first appointment. Crazy!!

Congratulations! Its such a great feeling. I remember constantly feeling like AF was going to come but she didn't! I'm now 19+4 😊 just FYI you count pregnancy from the 1st day of your last period, so although you have only technically been pregnant for 1-2 weeks, you would count from LMP. That's how midwives and Drs measure it as for most people they are unsure when ovulation definitely occurred. Took me so long to get my head around it 😂
