Hi all! Just wondered if there was any successfull stories out there. I stopped the pill in september 2018. Since then i have had 9 periods all ranging from 39-45 days. This month (roughly a year stopping the pill) i have had a 31 day period and i noticed alot of ewcm 14 days before! Does this mean a year after stopping the pill my body is finally regulating itself?

I got pregnant straight after my withdrawal bleed which took 6 weeks to come after stopping the progesterone only pill but lost the baby through miscarriage. I then got pregnant on my next cycle and currently 18 weeks but suffering horrendously with severe hyperemesis.
Hope you get you're BFP soon hun.

I came off my pill in September 2018 (cerazette) and got pregnant end of October 2018. Baby was born in July. Hope you get your BFP soon.

Everafter1 · 30/10/2019 14:52

That is definitely a good sign!
I fell pregnant (successfully) the first month I had that cm after coming off the pill, baby will be here soon.
Good luck!

Fingers crossed it's your month! Have you tried preseed? I tried that the first month & got caught straight away. X

purplefig · 30/10/2019 15:07

First things first - EWCM is a great sign! To answer your question, I came off the mini pill (Cerazette) in August 2018 and it took me nine months of TTC to get pregnant (currently 25 weeks with my first, due in Feb).

Are you doing any form of period tracking? I messed around with ovulation sticks and tracker apps, but I eventually decided to give temping a go as that's one of the best ways to confirm if you've actually ovulated or not (your temperature shifts). Another option would be to get one of those fertility bracelet monitors, but they are more expensive.

My best piece of TTC advice would be to buy/borrow and inhale 'Taking Charge of your Fertility'. After reading this and making some changes, I got my BFP. All the best! x

Oh yes preseed worked for us! Or coincidence lol.

Boymummy3 · 30/10/2019 19:19

My sister struggled to conceive her 2nd when stopping the pill... bang on a year later she got pregnant x

Luckylola12 · 30/10/2019 20:04

Really good sign I think OP. I took the mini pill and it took a good few months for me to conceive. I had multiple miscarriages but it took around 3-4 months to conceive each time.

Good luck! The trying is always the best part according to my dp.

Hi everyone

Has anyone got any updates on ttc?

I stopped cerazette approx 4 weeks ago now, no AF yet Sad feeling nauseous today so done a test but BFN!

abbs1 · 21/11/2019 16:04

@Diamond94 it took me 9 weeks to have my withdrawal bleed after stopping the pill and then I got pregnant on first cycle but lost the baby. I got pregnant again the next cycle and now 21 weeks pregnant.
Hope you get some good news soon!

PrinnyPree · 21/11/2019 17:53

Hi I was on the combined pill (Yasmin) for 17 years and came off because I was 35 and had a couple of visual migraines at work (I also use to smoke) I didn't TTC until June this year and fell pregnant in September (the same month I actually first started using ovulation tests). I'm 37 and have PCOS too. Wink Good luck OP.

cravingmilkshake · 21/11/2019 18:27

Yup, I came off in May last year and fell pregnant November last year.... currently watching my husband hold a screaming nearly 4 month old after her jabs!

Good luck xx

Diamond94 · 21/11/2019 20:35

@abbs1 thanks you! Its nice to read a positive story, minus the loss of course sorry to hear that! Congratulations on the pregnancy 🥳

Diamond94 · 21/11/2019 20:37

Thanks for the replies! Its lovely to hear positives rather than negatives, i made the mistake of reading lots of negative posts on here about coming off pill 🙄...
@cravingmilkshake hope you're wee one is okay ❤️

redwinefine · 21/11/2019 21:25
