Hi so long story but im hoping someone can help maybe advise me with there experinces

So 4 days ago i was 6 weeks 3 days pregnant with my first child and when i went to the toilet i experinced light pink/brown spotting only when i wiped i freaked right out went to a and e where they did obs and sent me home they refured me to early pregnancy unit but i dont go there till tomorrow

Since then on 6weeks 5days the bleeding got worse more red in colour at times some times brown with stringy bits (tmi sorry) then i passed 2 what i though was large red clots again only when i wiped never passing through to a pad

I contacted my g.p and midwife and made an appointmeny yesterday at 6weeks 6days she did obs and a external exam and said theres nothing she can do but wait explained i may be going through a threatened miscarriage

Today i woke up it was red blood this morning and through out the day has gone to brown discharge with the stringy bits again

Obviously im freaking out and thinking in having a miscarriage me and my partner have tried for out little pea for a while now and the stress and worry is driving me to insanity

Has anyone else experinced this?
What was there out come?
And any advice for a desperately worried woman 😭😭😭

Sending you hugs. The waiting to find out what's going on is the absolute worst! I experienced 2 lots of bleeding in early pregnancy. Once around the time my period was due & enough to assume it was my period. It just tailed off & then stopped after about 48 hours which is what made me test as I was a bit confused what was going on. I then had another bleed about a week later. Referred to early pregnancy unit & scan showed all was well, she's now 9 months.

I have no idea how things will turn out for you but just wanted to let you know bleeding doesn't always signal bad news. Fingers crossed for you for tomorrow. X

I had bleeding too with my third Dc, it stopped and started until about 11 weeks and all turned out ok - when I went for a scan the sonographer said no pain was a good thing. Hopefully you will also be ok.

Op just wanted to say good luck. I also had spitting early on but didn't pass clots so sounds slightly different. I hope everything works out for you xx

Jesskir89 · 29/10/2019 20:11

Spotting not spitting sorry x

Have things settled down this morning?

Goodebe · 30/10/2019 06:40

Hopefully the pain being very mild is a positive thing, that’s what my sonographer seemed to think for me anyway. Let us know how you get on, it’s a long wait I can completely empathise.

Wishing you lots of luck for your scan later, I’ve got my fingers crossed for you

DerbyshireGirly · 30/10/2019 11:45

Good luck OP, I bled really heavily at 8 weeks and was convinced I was miscarrying but it turned out to be nothing serious. It's so common to bleed in early pregnancy, but it does feel very wrong and scary. I hope everything goes well for you!

Bethx1993 · 30/10/2019 16:52

Hi ladies thank you all for your well wishes a prayers unfortunatly i am having a miscarriage i had an external and internal scan readings say im pregnant but nothing on scans they have taken my bloods and i have to go back in 48 hours to have them done again to checl my hgc levels i think she said and they should start dropping if not then theres a chance im having an eptopic dont really know how to feel atm the only reassuring thing is the dr has said there is nothing wrong with me everything is at it should be its just mother nature saying not this one 😫 my DP has be amazing hes hurting to time to heal now x

Op I'm so sorry for your loss sending hugs x

Goodebe · 30/10/2019 18:03

So sorry OP - have been thinking about you. I’ve had two miscarriages and if it’s any comfort at all both times I got pregnant again within a couple of months.

Bethx1993 · 30/10/2019 18:21

Obviously we want to try again but we are going to wait for now i have been bleeding alot since i got home from the internal exam wether that has moved things on not sure i think i have come to terms with it now and it wasnt ment to be thanks for all your support and advice xx

So sorry OP, you two take as much time as you need to heal, but when you are ready remember there's no reason you won't have a totally straightforward pregnancy in future. This is one of those shitty things nobody can explain and it sucks x
