So...I think I've got my first client as a doula and I haven't done the course yet!!!!

I've been asked if I'd be my friend's doula, her dp doesn't want to be there. I am hoping to do the natural childbirth course in October but I've applied and haven't heard anything, anyone know how long it's likely to take and do they send you a hard copy or a PDF file?

The natural childbirth course, I was hoping that it'd be an 'introduction' to being a doula, and answer some of questions such as what to do when things go wrong, how to deal and get on with the midwives, how I can be of maximum support to the mother and so on...

is there a website - hanvet heard of this one....
