obestric cholestatis HELP!

I got diagnosed with obestric cholestatis 7 days ago. I got put on meds 6 days ago. The itching stopped after 2 days on meds.
Today the itching is awful and I have a rash on my stomach with spot like bumps with redness. Is it normal for itching to stop then come back despite being on meds??? Is it normal for a huge rash to appear going up stomach after the symptoms worn off?

I'm currently 33+3 and will be getting induced at 37 weeks.

Have you been given creams as well? If so, I found they gave a lot of (temporary) relief. I also went for bloods every few days so you could also ask then, or just give your AU a call and ask - mine were really happy for me to contact them with queries. It could just be that your medication needs to be upped. For what it's worth my baby came at 36+6 naturally, so I avoided induction and the itching went pretty much straight after I'd had my baby.

Meant to add, what's "normal" will depend on your bile acid count etc which can only be established through bloods so it's just best to ask your maternity unit in these situations.
