Anyone had steroid injections at 27 weeks?

Hi all, just looking for some reassurance I guess...
Went into hospital on Thursday (27 weeks) with reduced movements and period like pains and was monitored/had a scan. Monitor showed that I was having some tightening but they said it could be braxton hicks, stretching or mild contractions and the baby's heart dropped for a period (which they also said could have happened if the baby held the umbilical cord or lying on it) . They gave me the actim partum test which came back positive and I was told I have a "1/6 chance of going into labour within 2 weeks" so was given and internal and tests (no infection, no bleeding, no diabetes, no water broken). I was kept in and given 2 x steroid injections in my bum 12 hours apart. I was then monitored twice more and had another scan, everything was fine, lots of movements since and heart rate strong and baby within normal growth range. I havent really been having cramps since, only a little lower back pain which I assume is normal at this stage anyway (?) or could be from the steroids to my bum (quite painful). Anyone else had any experiences like this? I'm just trying to relax now and hope it was just a blip...
