Hi I am pregnant and due in march, i have a LO who will be 18months when baby comes! Have been looking for a double pram suitable for newborn and to sit side by side! Have looked at the out n about 3 wheeled optioned though i am worried it may be unsteady! Can any one give their experience on this or recommend another double pram with 4 wheels? Thanks Smile

Mountain Buggy Duet. There's about a thread a week asking this question and I always recommend it. Side by side but goes through single doors and on all buses.

I really want the Bugaboo Donkey but it is £££££! I'm not feeling that spendy! Grin

I'm in the same position my DD will be 18 months and I'm due in March too. I originally wanted a side by side and was going to get the bugaboo donkey as it's really lightweight and converts to a single pram but at nearly £1500 its pricey. It also wont fit through the front door of my house so I've decided on a tandem style icandy. It was a really at a really good price £806 (with a discount code) at winstanleys pramworld compared to £1378 at mothercare it should arrive tomorrow so fingers crossed.

Ive got an out and about Nipper and with a heavy 3 year old on one side and a 7 month old on the other it isn’t tippy. I love it, so easy to push and fits through standard doorways.

Thank you everyone for your responses! @csmw i slso would have liked a bugaboo but couldnt justify paying the money for it! Spent alot on a single buggy for my DD we never thought be in position of having 2 babies so close!! All the best with ur new addition March will be here before we know it!

I had the double mountain buggy, amazing product, never regretted purchasing it, very stable, 4 wheels, easy to push, would recommend to anyone. I also had a newborn and toddler at the time. Good luck OP.

I have an out n about nipper for my children, absolutely fab. Really easy to push and goes through doors and on busses. I initially converted my uppababy to a double but found it was incredibly heavy to push with both of them on it so now just use it as a single. I’ve never used an icandy or a bugaboo so they could well be lighter but it’s definitely worth keeping in mind the weight of the pram itself.

My DGS1 will be 17 months when my DGS2 is born & DD fell in love with the Bugaboo Donkey which is extremely expensive! I managed to get it for her on eBay for just under £500!!! That included 2 carrycots, 2 seats & all the extras. It's really worth looking around at 2nd hand if your heart is set on a particular pram. Obviously, we will buy a new carrycot mattress.

I have a newborn and a 16 month old. We have an uppa baby vista which has been amazing, plus it has a massive basket which you need with two ! I would definitely recommend getting a pram where they sit in front and not side by side as there have been lots of places where we wouldn't of fit through if the pram had been side by side, including the bus! Also my 16 month old likes to poke the newborn in the face 🤦🏼‍♀️ so a side by side would of been a bit problematic 😂
