For those who had their babies early, did you have any signs in the days/weeks running up? I'm 35+1 and for the last 4 days my lower back has been absolute agony, I've been having lightening crotch frequently, I'm leaking lots of colostrum (bright yellow), my hands have swelled up and I've had an increase in discharge. My DH is convinced baby will come in the next few weeks! First baby so currently wouldn't know Labour if it hit me in the face 😂

Back pain can be a sign that baby isn't in the right position. I had some lower back pain with my first and she was lying slightly off centre. I've had much worse back pain this time and she is back to back. And hand or feet swelling can signal pre eclampsia. Not sure on other symptoms though. And I was induced with first and still pregnant with second (37 weeks) so not early with either. Definitely mention to midwife though

@benandhollyagaaain midwife aware, I saw her Thursday 🙂 baby isn't back to back but is 2/5 engaged which could explain the back pain! I have spinal arthritis so I'm used to back pain but this is more of a nerve pain? I have a growth scan Wednesday so will get a better insight on her position etc!

My 1st came 9 days early and I thought I had a stitch all day turned out I was in labour lol. 2nd I had pains on and off for around a week or so day I went into labour I was absolutley fine no pain/cramps then half 5 came and it hit me like a ton of bricks lol. Good luck x

Maybe positive signs then! Fingers crossed you aren't kept waiting too long once baby is fully cooked! 🤞 Good luck 🥰 x
