Me, I'm 33+3 and been doing them since about 8 weeks, will have to continue til at least 6 weeks after birth.
Takes a while to get used to them and find the good (number) spots, and it's harder now as I can only really do my love handles but cant see them 🤣 so I have an extra mirror set up in the bathroom

Glad it's not just me! SmileI've been on them before and injected myself fine however this time round I can't even look at the packet without feeling nauseous!
My lovely husband has been doing them for me, I'm 7 +1 and I'm very slim so there's not much to pinch! On the plus side I can blame him when it hurts!!

I'm on clexane, which from the looks is just another brand. I've been on them since 12 weeks, and will be on them til I'm 36 weeks (18+3 ). I did the first one myself, however my kind mother in law has been doing them daily for me since.

Clexane here too. Was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism (blood clot in the lung) a few weeks ago (at 23w) so am on them twice a day for the rest of the pregnancy and then six weeks after. I think I’ll have to be on them for the entirety of any subsequent pregnancies too. I had to get my partner to do the first few but given he’s usually asleep when I leave for work that wasn’t really practical so I do them myself now. I found it really awful to start with but you do get used to it.

I bruised really badly at the beginning and my midwife said not to pinch but to keep the skin flat... I find that quite hard though so have been pinching a bit! I find doing it really slowly and gently is the best thing for avoiding bruising, my stomach looks much better than it did a couple of weeks ago. I’m even going to brave the swimming pool again this week (was too embarrassed about all the bruises till now!).

I did this, was fine, the only issue was pick up of the sharps bins which was a hassle to organise.

I am 35 weeks and have been doing this since before the embryo transfer. I have A lovely string of bruises all along my thighs now lol.

I had a previous blood clot on my lung too whilst in hospital a few years ago and I've something wrong with my blood so I don't think I'm getting out of it! Lol
The bruises are a dreadful sight my stomach is a range of black blue and yellow alongside previous scars it looks terrible!!
I've been told I can't inject into my thigh so tummy it is until 6 weeks after baby is born!

Nice to know others are in the same boat!
Xx
