Been looking for some big pants but the ones specifically for post c section are REALLY expensive and don’t want to spend a fortune on a pack of 2 pants. Any recommendations please? X

I got a pack of five big knickers from Sainsbury’s and they lasted my recovery from four c sections.

Big full briefs, supermarket therapies, 2 sizes too big, black. Smile

*cheapies!!! Not therapies.
Stupid phone.

Big cheap supermarket ones.

JoJo maman bebe do excellent Carriewell Hospital knickers that are great after c section. They are mesh so allow air at the scar and go very high up the stomach. Pack of five cost £8. They wash great too even thought they look as though they don't.

I got mine in Primark, high waisted ones, very cheap!

My nanna got me some M&S full briefs 2 sizes up from my normal size after I'd had my c-section. They were great, they came right up to my belly button!

I brought some today (anticipating a c section and very bored signed off on sick leave atm) and I'm due January. 25% off at sainsburys, 5 pack for £4.80 not exactly glamerous but no love lost if they don't survive beyond the few week's I will need em. Worked a treat last time Smile

Justasconfusedwithnumber2 · 25/10/2019 21:26

BTW they were full briefs and two sizes bigger than pre preg

Big, high waisted pants from Primark. Some of their stomach control ones are rather feeble and quite comfy after a section.

megletthesecond · 25/10/2019 21:29

yy dmt. I had the Carriewell ones too. They are great for the first week.

BikeRunSki · 25/10/2019 21:33

YY to big black supermarket cheapies. Definitely black, there will be blood!!

ruralcat · 25/10/2019 21:34

Supermarket cheapies that you can bin, they're useful for however you end up delivering.

JenDaw · 25/10/2019 21:44

Sainsbury's, full briefs, 2x sizes bigger than usual... perfect! The material was soft, elastic in the waist sturdy enough to cover the dressing (but not cut in) and they lasted until I didn't need them any more! :)

Monique007 · 25/10/2019 22:18

Had Sainsbury’s brand full briefs. I think whatever brand might do as far as you feel comfortable in them. I found after C-section the bleeding is less than after normal delivery( had 2 normal deliveries) and it lasts also less, so ended up using normal liners quite early too.
