Hi.. I'm currently 22 weeks pregnant and was in the shower washing my face.. abit of soap went up my nose and down my throatShock It was only a tiny bit but I know that everything that I swallow goes to my baby and now I am worried.. will it harm my baby? I can feel her moving so I know she is okay but I can't help but think otherwise! X

Thankyou in advanceSmile

Not everything you swallow goes to your baby. You have absolutely nothing to worry about.

Everything you swallow doesnt go to your baby, baby isn't attached to your gullet.

LidlPanAuChoc · 25/10/2019 20:27

It'll be blowing bubbles on your next scan, that's all. No biggie.

Enidcat5 · 25/10/2019 20:27

Oh bless you, I used to panic too about everything when pregnant. No, you're all good don't worry, it'll not harm baby.

CherryValance · 25/10/2019 20:27

Your baby will be fine, don’t worry.

“this is my first pregnancy “

We guessed Wink

Congratulations, OP, and try not to worry too much. We are very resilient as a species and over the millennia generations of healthy babies have been born to Mums who infested much worse than a minute quantity of shower gel.

In the Middle Ages in London everyone drank beer because the fresh water was not fit to drink.

nataliemum25 · 26/10/2019 08:32

Bet that tasted nice 😂, your baby will be fine x

There is nothing in body wash that can harm your baby anyway. Chemically it basically fat and salt.

MarigoldGlove · 26/10/2019 09:04

When you have your baby, the baby will be putting its arm through the cat flap and taking a handful of gravel and putting it in its mouth. Or maybe that's just me.
