IVE Taken Vitamin A for 3 weeks!

Hey guys! Im currently 28w+ 3d pregnant, stupid off me ive bought a multivitamin and iron tablet, not thinking about the vitamin A! That could aslo be in the packet.
I checked the label today and its 800ug vitamin A! Ive heard all horror things to avoid as it could affect baby, and im
Mortified, ive called my midwide today they scheduled me for a scan jus to re assure me baby is okay!!! Is anyone else in the same boat or did this too, without knowing/checking the labels.
I need help advice as wednesday is like 5 days away and feels like forever. Thanks

The danger time for birth defects is the first three months. Try not too worry too much.

In some places it's recommended in pregnancy, admittedly those countries have a very different typical diet to us, but it's not all bad and you're probably fine unless you also have loads in your diet.

its good to feel reassured, and I’ve checked the foods that contain high in vitamin A gladly i have not had any of them apart from the rare occasions of vegetables.

Was it not a pregnancy vitamin then?

It was multivitamin & iron tablets not pregnacare brand.

Vitamin A in the form of beta carotene (found in fruit/veg) is not harmful. Retinol is the form you have to be careful with. If taking vitamins during pregnancy then it's best to take a pregnancy one which wont necessarily be pregnacare as others are available. It's only really folic acid and vitamin D that's recommended to take.
