I'm 38weeks and I was on my birthing ball yesterday and when I stood up I felt really damp (the dampness went through my trousers) I couldn't tell if it was discharge or my waters leaking but I decided it must have been discharge as I've had a lot throughout my pregnancy, anyways I decided to go back on my birthing ball today and the same has happened only i did see a slight wet patch on my ball when i stood up ( not a puddle but I could definitely see a slight wet/dampness on the ball, I decided to have a look at my pants and I could see there was definitely some leakage of some sort, didn't smell like pee but it didn't smell sweet (as a lot of people have told me that's what there waters smelt like. I did put a pad on yesterday after I noticed it first but there was no significant amount of leaking to tell what it was but the bad was definitely damp. Anyone have any idea what this could be ? Could this be my waters leaking?

Call your maternity unit as not worth the risk just in case. My hind waters went about 24 before my waters broke properly and I needed monitoring to make sure things didn't move too slowly. Midwives are the best people to ask, and they'd rather you called them 🙂

I'd go get checked as you mjght hsve a slow lwak, but they can let you know fairly easily. You won't be ghe first if it turns out to be discharge or wee! Better to be safe. It was fairly obvious when my waters went both times, sort of a pop and big gush. 2nd time i had to waddle into hospital with a towel around my waist! So elegant... 😂
