Hi I wonder if anyone can shed any light. I'm currently 5w +3days and I'm on holiday just now. The cramps I'm experiencing are soo bad it's like period cramp and is very strong. I've read that this can be normal bit mines has lasted four days and always mostly at night...I can't sleep for worrying that I may be miscarrying but I have no bleeding or anything.

Thank.you in advance X

They are pretty common and unless accompanied by bleeding as usually no cause for concern. Just before I tested with my 2nd I was in that much pain with cramps I thought I was going to have a really bad period.. turned out infact I was just pregnant... take paracetamol see if that helps. And if your still worried when you get back off holiday try and see a midwife although without bleeding they will probally just tell you it's normal. You could also book in for an early scan privately if this would help ease your Mind x

It's so easy to worry esp early pregnancy with all the cramps/pain so it's understandable xx
