I am due on the 30th of March 2020 but my contract ends on the 31st of December. I have worked with my employer for a year. I will also be classed as working for that employer during the qualifying week.
Do you think I will qualify for SMP from my current employer?

I believe as long as you're still employed at least until15 weeks before your due date you should be entitled if you meet all other criteria
