Hi all I just wondered if any of you convince yourself you're pregnant and get all worked up about it. I'm ttc baby number 2 and with my first I was the same. Kept convincing myself I was pregnant and always got bfn, even after a missed period! It was only until 4 weeks after my missed period I got a bfp! Anyway I'm 2 days late and I can't shake the feeling of flutters in my tummy it's like I feel nervous. Xx

I am exactly the same. We are TTC number two.
My period is really late, however I've had a bfn.
You saying you took four weeks after your period for a bfp has given me hope.

Workaholic2mum · 23/10/2019 23:52

Hey liverbird77 hoping you get that bfp! For my first it took 4 weeks AFTER a missed period to get a bfp. I tested 1week, 2weeks and 3 and a half weeks after a missed period all negative. But my period is like clockwork so I knew something wasn't right. At the moment I'm 2 days late so praying af doesn't arrive xx

Hi ladies, I'm currently in the same boat, I'm on cd 39 when my cycle is normally 26-31 days so minimum of 8 days late yes every

tiggerifficmummy · 24/10/2019 00:34

Sorry pressed send before I'd finished! I'm at least 8 days late and only bfn so far! Fingers crossed for the late bfp but I get so disappointed with every negative

Liverbird77 · 24/10/2019 02:10

Fingers crossed for all of us!
I have never, ever had a cycle of this length before. With my first, I tested on the day of my missed period and got a positive right away.
All I can think is, if I have conceived, it must've been really late ovulation, based on when we dtd this month!

Workaholic2mum · 24/10/2019 03:24

Praying we all get the bfp! Xx

I've never been this late either that's what's confusing me! With my precious pregnancies I always found out pretty much straight away yet I'm now 8 days later than my longest ever cycle and still negatives! I don't know if these symptoms are really there or if I'm making them up 😂

Workaholic2mum · 24/10/2019 14:55

Sometimes you SO want to be pregnant that you convince yourself you must be. And I hate the feeling of being unsure, especially like you say, no af and negative tests.

Unfortunately for me af has arrived! :( :( :( Really feeling disappointed as I'd been looking at pushchairs online. I always build up this amazing perfect picture in my head and get carried away with my thoughts. I'm hoping by the end of the year I'll have a little bundle of joy xx

@Workaholic I am really sorry. Why do our bodies have to do this? Fingers crossed for you for next cycle

flissity · 24/10/2019 16:51

The 3rd month trying I was ‘definitely 100% not pregnant’ as everything was against us. Didn’t DTD as much, had thrush, so spent most of fertile time with caneston in my vagina. But actually we did conceive! Not sure how the sperm got thu the thrush cream.

Wish you so much luck, it really plays with your head doesn’t it :/

Workaholic2mum · 24/10/2019 19:18

@Liverbird77 it's like mind games only with yourself :( @flissity thank you for your kind words. Wouldn't it be lovely if we all got the one thing we wanted ♥️ praying for us all xxx

And me! A whole 8 days later than I've ever been before! And I was so convinced this time

Liverbird77 · 25/10/2019 13:28

I am really deflated. It doesn't help that we've just come back from Dr's, and me and ds have flu, and also has impetigo!
We are on the couch feeling sorry for ourselves!
Let's hope for a positive result soon for all of us!

Workaholic2mum · 25/10/2019 22:47

That's one word to describe it - deflated :( wish you all luck next time x
