Hi there I’ve just found out that I’ve miscarried due to a chemical pregnancy, I was just wondering how many other people have had successful pregnancy’s soon after having a chemical pregnancy, I also have a 3 year old daughter but would really love to give her a sibling so I’m looking for some positive stories please.

Thank you x

I had 3 chemicals in a row then got pregnant on my now 31 week pregnancy. Stick it out, it's horrible but worth it. Try not test till due date as that stops the knowing you had a chemical.

Unfortunately chemical pregnancys are very common so much so alot of women dont even know they have had one. I've had at least 3 that I know of possibly more that I dont know of.. I've had 2 successfully pregnancys and currently 26+3 with my 3rd. I dont think this will effect your chances of conceiving and going on to have a perfectly heathly pregnancy. Good luck xxx

Hey op, I had a chem in August, first time conceiving. Was pregnant for 5 days before I bled. The following month I fell pregnant again and am now just over 8 weeks.

I had a miscarriage when I was just short of 5 weeks.
Got pregnant two cycles later and am now 30 weeks with a little boy 💙

wineandsunshine · 23/10/2019 19:23

I had one around 6 weeks and then one cycle later had my last son 💙

Thank you so much for sharing with me just what I need to hear. Hopefully I’ll be able to conceive in the next cycle xx

@lemonysherbert

Hi lovely, if you don't mind me asking how did you the following month cycle? Was ovulation normal? I think I ovulated 7 days ago after a CP last month, but opk tests are all a bit over this month... I got another random postive last night, I have been having cramps the last 24 hours too

Lemonysherbet · 15/11/2019 09:49

Hey @anxiousannie86

My cycle went straight back to normal, I was lucky! I think as I lost the pregnancy so early my body didn't have too much to recover from. Nearly 12 weeks now! Have you taken a pregnancy test or was it an opk you got a positive on?

AnxiousAnnie86 · 15/11/2019 10:04

@lemonysherbet

I think mines gone back to normal only had a few days bleeding and with CP my opk strips have been a little harder to follow this month, I got a postive opk seven days ago and another last night x
