Morning Smile I have found several old posts with suggestions on, however many of the links now do not work and items are no longer stocked.
Does anyone know where you can busy stylish maternity jeans? My current jeans are all looking worn and faded at the knees so need replacing anyway so thought I would start searching for maternity jeans - I’m currently 17+5 and they are getting snug to do up. I prefer under bump ones and usually wear skinny jeans (sometimes ripped jeans too) but struggling to find anything that looks nice and doesn’t have poor reviews. Any ideas BrewCake

I always shopped at gap or H&M for maternity jeans x

I got a nice pair of under bump black skinnys with ripped knee from New Look - they are really comfy and feel good on. I'll probably stick with New Look for the rest of the maternity clothes x

I've got a few pairs of skinny over the bump jeans from Asda and H&M which are great. I weirdly didn't get on with them last pregnancy because I was wearing regular underwear under them and they seemed to just fall down constantly. But this pregnancy I've been wearing over the bump maternity underwear with them and the combination is so comfortable!

I'm in H&M skinny jeans - they're over the bump and properly skinny, and look nice. I've only just got my bump though so not sure what they'll be like later on in pregnancy!

New look do loads of styles of jeans including ripped knee. I find them a great fit as they do them in different leg lengths too x

JoJo do great jeans for £35. So comfy and a slim fit too if you like that style. Would highly recommend!

Topshop all the way. Nice stretch, lots of styles, good quality. Also lots of different waist and leg lengths to get the right fit.

New look are super comfy, look like proper jeans but stretchy. Also go for your normal size☺️ i found h&m were too low cut at the front and not stretchy and personally find that uncomfortable x

What size are you? I was a 12/14 pre-pregnancy and have found my old jeans (bar one or two really tight exceptions) all fit even in the third trimester and way better than maternity stuff which come up too big. You need to wear jeans under the bump and can get extenders too.

Thanks for all your recommendations- I will start searching again. Most our local stores don’t have maternity section so I would need to order lots online and hope something fits. @GrumpyHoonMain I am a 8/10 and my jeans are all fitting well still apart from not being able to do the button up.

Ah ok. If that’s the case maternity jeans may be too big. Buy some maternity button expanders from Amazon and they should extend the life of your jeans!

hazandduck · 23/10/2019 12:45

@20Tinkerbell20 I am 8-10 too and wearing H&M and Topshop skinny over bump jeans, they look and feel amazing, I bought the over bump leggings and although they are so comfy they are baggy at the knees 🤢 I hate that on leggings lol.

I also got the under bump skinny jeans from New Look when pregnant with my first baby 2 years ago and they were amazing, I haven’t dug them out of the loft yet but will do soon, I’m 25 weeks. I also wore them after giving birth for a shamefully long time 😂

My normal jeans I used the hair band trick up until a couple of weeks ago, google it if you haven’t tried it before it gives you that bit longer with your favourite jeans! My bump is just too much now for that and needs a bit of support.

As previous posters have suggested H&M do a good maternity range and reasonably priced too. They have the range in store too, which is helpful. Mothercare is also a good place for jeans, I found their sizes to be a bit bigger than normal. So if you have a store I'd go and try some on for sizing.
I loved my maternity jeans, I must admit I sometimes wear them now. (a year on) 🤣😂

hazandduck · 23/10/2019 12:46

Oh and boohoo do amazing maternity dungarees if you like those, they are so comfy!

Twistering · 23/10/2019 12:47

Topshop - I just got my usual style, usual size, just maternity, and ASOS.

Twistering · 23/10/2019 12:49

I’m also usually an 8 (less so, post preggo biscuit eating!). Leggings I wore non mat ones as long as poss as the mat ones were all too long in leg!
