Hi Ladies.

I have been on the implanon for over a year now, but I've been feeling more tired, haven't had my period for nearly 2months now, I'm freaking out🤦‍♀️ I already went to see my GP and did a urine pregnancy test came back NEGATIVE so we did bloods but was told the results came back it was too early to tell ..What should I do ?? Help a momma out ...

If you haven’t had a period for 2 months, how can your bloods possibly be too early to tell? You have HG in your blood from day dot of conception, so even if you were only a week or so pregnant, there’d be HG in your blood. Basically, either their is HG in your blood or there isn’t.. you need to go back and ask for a proper answer. Is there evidence of pregnancy or not. Your GP should be able to help you further. Don’t be afraid to push them, it shouldn’t be too hard to ascertain if you are pregnant. The harder bit is sometimes working out if a pregnancy is viable & progressing.

Good luck!

I feel like my tummy is expanding and my body feels heavy, I'm so confused and freaked out at the same time, cause even when I had the implanon inserted I was still having my regular periods, but then out of nowhere it just stop coming

Bless you, get yourself a GP appointment ASAP and get them to tell you one way or another, blood tests are pretty much fool proof. And if for some reason they aren’t, they should be offering you a scan to see what’s going on!

Thank you so much, I will definitely ask to get a scan done so I can be sure what's happening 👍
