Tummy feeling bruised

Trisha a small party of my tummy is feeling slightly bruised. Top left of my belly button. I haven't bumped it or anything, is this normal? Is it just my 'bump' growing?

I have exactly the same! Hopefully it's normal xx

I had a feeling of bruised bump with my second around 25 plus weeks. As he got larger it got more painful. I finally realised he liked to dig his foot into ONE part of my tummy (above and left of belly button) and I had to keep pushing it back in. The bruising felt very uncomfortable and I still have a patch of slightly looser skin on my tummy which he just ground away with his heels.

Normal I think. The skin is very stretched and thin. But if worried ask your midwife.
Congratulations. Smile

I had this, midwife told me it was just stretching pains. Didnt feel like stretching at the time but must've been. It eventually went away, only to be replaced with very painful feet in my ribs!

How far along are you?
I've had it from about 28 weeks, 34 now and it's still there but I seem to be growing by the day!

I also have this, currently 33 weeks. My skin is so sore that even clothes rubbing off it is uncomfortable. I had a scan last week and it was agony when the sonographer was scanning me. My bump is very big though (measuring about 7 weeks big so far!).

Totally normal! So much stretching/pushing going on at the moment.

If it gets worse or you are really worried, phone your maternity unit - they will be able to advise and/or offer you a scan to check everything is ticking away nicely.
