Pregnant with my second and this pregnancy feels so different to my first, I've felt more sick and tired but no heartburn or constipation (tmi, sorry). My first was a girl so just wondering if anyone had a different pregnancy with a different sex or if anyone had totally different pregnancies but same sex??

I've got 2 boys and pregnant with a girl. They were all different especially my 2 boys pregnancies I dont think I felt differently at all. I was convinced that this one was a boy also but I was wrong. Will you be finding out?

yoursworried · 22/10/2019 12:54

I felt dreadful with my girl pretty much to the bitter end and with my boy I only felt dreadful for about 10 weeks. I only have this small sample size of 2 to go by but in my case I felt different!

I'm pregnant with my 3rd boy & 3rd baby and every single pregnancy has been different if anything they have got worse, 1st no symptoms felt fine, 2nd was pretty grim constantly tired and achey but managed.. this one I feel like I've been run over daily, heartburn, sickness, achey the list is endless lol.
Every pregnancy is different I dont believe in the whole feeling such a thing for a girl and such a thing for a boy. Same with cravings I dont believe one is for one and one if for the other lol xx

I'm pregnant with my third. First two were girls and both pregnancies were very different I was convinced I was having a boy for my second as my first was a girl until my scan said it was a girl as everything was different. The length of sickness, amount of sickness, tiredness, movement etc. So there's not really a way to tell unfortunately.

I'm pregnant with my 2nd boy and I've had had hardly any sickness both times but I had terrible heartburn with my 1st and it's even worse this time around
But strange cravings for cucumber this time around 😂

paperplant · 22/10/2019 14:38

i am also wondering this!

first pregnancy i was quite nauseous and had bad food aversions, with my second it's essentially the same symptoms but all toned down - started later, less intense.
First baby is a girl - second I'm thinking is a boy but we've had conflicting predictions in two different scans!

nataliemum25 · 22/10/2019 14:42

My boys were a lot more easier when I carried them, with my girls I felt absolutely terrible xx

HalfBloodPrincess · 22/10/2019 14:45

I have 2 girls and 2 boys and all pregnancies were identical in terms of symptoms and bumps size.

My fourth pregnancy was the only one that felt 'different' and that was the baby I miscarried

Zarara · 22/10/2019 14:47

I had mild sickness with my son which stopped when I got to 12 weeks. I had bad morning sickness in this pregnancy until 20weeks and have had varying levels of sickness since, I’m pregnant with a girl so for me the pregnancy’s did differ.

userabcname · 22/10/2019 14:52

My two pregnancies were both completely different and both were boys.

Dizzy201 · 22/10/2019 14:55

I have 3 boys and had 3 very different pregnancies so yes, they were however all quite hard work but I did also have quick labour with all 3 🙂

BarleyG · 23/10/2019 11:47

Two pregnancies, completely different, both girls

Cornflakesncake · 23/10/2019 11:52

Two very different pregnancies and both the same sex.

Marcipex · 23/10/2019 11:53

I was fine with dd but I had awful sickness for months with ds. It did stop about 5 months and agonising leg cramps began at night instead.
I was really glad to go into labour.

stophuggingme · 23/10/2019 11:57

Two boys one girl

Boys: horrible sickness, dizziness, craving for sugar, couldn’t stomach tea or coffee. lovely neat bumps,
Girl: no puking just constant nausea. Looked like shit. Massive wide bump from about 9 weeks (she is middle child). Drank tea like a woman possessed. Hated sweet things. Horrific heartburn and acid reflux twenty four seven.

Amberheartkitty · 23/10/2019 12:10

3 girls I was sick constantly and so tired. My last was a boy and I had no symptoms other than getting a bump. For me it was much much easier carrying my son.

100cupsoftea · 23/10/2019 20:25

Thank you everyone, that's really interesting - lots with the same sex but very different symptoms - I'm planning to find out (currently 10.5 weeks so have a while to wait) hoping the sickness/ bloating calms down & the heartburn continues not to make an appearance! This pregnancy has been much tougher than my first! Xx

I've got three, two boys one girl. My DD was middle child. The two boys pregnancies I put on much less weight, felt less tired and looked generally better than I did when carrying my daughter. I did have much worse heartburn with them both than with DD though.
When pregnant with DD I put more weight on my legs and bum, and had bad food aversions.
So yes, in summary, I think I felt differently carrying a girl. My mum had two boys and two girls and agrees with this, but I guess everyone is different Smile
