Possible flu? 33 weeks pregnant

Went to bed Sunday night feeling ok just a little twinge in my throat.

Woke up yesterday morning feeling like I’ve swallowed razor blades, headache, runny nose, chesty cough and the WORST muscle aches all over my body.

Last night could not sleep due to feeling like I couldn’t breathe, was sick twice (water and mucus) had a slight tinge of blood in it with bad stomach cramps. Woke up this morning without the strength to even get up, still bad flu like symptoms - feel very weak and lethargic.

Normal me would just ride it out, but 33 week pregnant me is thinking I should contact gp.
(Regular paracetamol, honey & lemon tea, not helping)

What do you think?

Without a doubt, contact your GP. I don't want to frighten you one little bit cause could be something or nothing, but flu can bring on premature labour, & infection can be passed on to little'un. Good luck! x

I've been feeling the same absolutely crap, I've been out on antibiotics for a chest infection, I'd definitely go see your gp x
