Hey guys,

I'm approx 6+1 with my first. Having some period type cramps and some pink discharge. The period type cramps are quite uncomfortable, not unbearable but definitely uncomfortable. Not sure whether it's worth ringing my doctor's or is this just a normal part of pregnancy?

Thanks guys

I would ring your doctor or go to your early pregnancy unit/emergency gyny unit. Every trust is different to what they provide but it's best to get checked out if you're concerned.

@auroracase called my GP, just waiting for a call back now. Had some small clots so now I think it could be bad news 😔

I'm so sorry this is happening but don't up hope yet. You'll see from other posts on this threads that some people bleed through their entire pregnancies and go on to have healthy pregnancies. Definitely best to get checked out so you know what is going on though. Take care

Hope everything is ok! I had the same at 6 weeks and 3 days, I'm 7 weeks tomorrow and it's just starting to clear up today. I have a scan with epu tomorrow just to make sure. I'd just wait and see what Dr says and just try to keep comfortable, I was told that it was normal when I spoke to my midwife, but to go to epu for reassurance if I would like.

So I rang 111 in the end as my doctor never called me back. They sent me to the gynecology ward at my hospital, who did a dip test and that was negative. They've took blood too and I need to call them out to find out what's going on 😔
