Terrible indigestion and nausea but negative test

Hello! So I’m 13 days DPO and tested around 12noon today, and got a negative test (I was looking for a very distinct line but I now know these can be very faint almost in-noticeable!) Period due in 2 days and have been having terrible indigestion / heart burn / nausea for about a week with the odd cramps in my lower tummy and back.

Am I testing too early? Has anyone had positive tests with these symptoms after BFN? Have never felt like this before...

Yeah you could be testing too early. Wait until your period is at least a couple of days late and test with your first wee of the day, ideally on a first response test. Good luck!

Thanks for your reply Inthesky42. I couldn’t find first response so have got the clear blue digital ones. The negative was on a £1 Asda freedom test which I’ve now read aren’t very good. Such an anxious time!!

Clear Blue digital aren't very sensitive at all and the ASDA ones are pants ( I was getting completely white BFN when all other brands were giving me strong BFP )

I'd recommend getting a FRER and trying tomorrow with your first wee of the day x

I did a FRER test and got this result, do you think it's an evap line? I did a clear blue digital and got a not pregnant. Nausea is getting worse and AF still not here. Being in limbo is so hard!

Like I said clear blue digital aren't sensitive at all, I got my faint positive on a FRER at 9dpo and didn't get a BFP on clear blue until 13dpo.

Take a FRER again tomorrow morning or day after and it'll have much more colour

I've never known an evap line on a FRER and I've taken a lot of them lol. Looks positive to me. Try another FRER in 2 days. Should be a darker line by then :) x

I deffo see that line on the frer!! 😊. Try again in 2-3 days and see if it's darker! The clear and simple from b&m or savers are just as good (bold line at 11dpo for me) and 1/10 of the price so get these if you want to do a few tests to confirm and see line progression! 😊

I think that's a positive OP I didn't get a hint of a line until I was a couple of days late both times, I used the internet cheap ones

Thanks for your replies ladies, I did another test and I'm pretty sure it was negative but still no AF, who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️. I'm think I'll take a break from peeing on sticks until next week (unless AF comes before then!)
