Does having more early pregnancy symptoms and stronger / earlier symptoms in a second pregnancy mean it's more likely I am having twins? I conceived while BFing and understand there could be an increased chance...!

I’m in the same boat OP! Pregnant with my 2nd (only 7 weeks at the moment), had 2 really strong positive tests very early and have had really strong symptoms which I didn’t have last time. Twins keep running through my head!

I dont know the statistics about twins whilst BF but I am.going to say more symptoms doesnt mean Twins well not in my case anyway. 1st pregnancy single baby no symptoms... 2nd pregnancy single baby felt like crap from day dot lol 3rd pregnancy (this one) single baby again feel like absolute death... you also show quicker with 2nd etc so I dont think having more symptoms would be connected to twins.. my Brothers gf had twins when I was having my 2nd and she hardly got symptoms at all so suppose depends on the person xx

Echoing what Boymummy3 said. My second pregnancy actually started as triplets (though I sadly lost one at 6 weeks), but my symptoms were far more mild than they were for my singleton pregnancy. I also got my BFPs on exactly the same DPO for both pregnancies, with no difference in line strength.

One baby, and I was being sick at work ever morning at 3-4 weeks pregnant. That's what prompted me to take a test!

I had twins and I’m now pregnant with a singleton. Both were as equally horrendous the twin pregnancy sickness lasted a little longer but that was the only difference for me

i'm on my second (single) pregnancy. with my first (also single), I had symptoms 2 weeks earlier and a lot worse than with my second! no idea how twins would feel like :D
