Such a daft few questions but FTM and no idea what's normal and what's not.

I posted yesterday regarding my hands suddenly swelling on Sunday morning. I've kept an eye on them since, less swollen but my feet did swell at work today too.

I've felt hot all day, it was mentioned a few times by colleagues that I looked flustered and I felt it. Ive gotten home and have awful tummy cramps now, as well as very loud and frequent internal gas (the type that feels like bubbles Blush). I've been to the loo twice, one slightly mucus-y and one normal.

Is all of this just a regular part of pregnancy? I don't feel particularly well in myself at all Sad

Call your midwife, it's better to be safe than sorry. Do it now x

hi @Andersonx3 I would phone your midwife and tell her how you're feeling. She will probably want you to go in to check your swelling and your blood pressure. Is baby moving ok?

NationMcKinley · 21/10/2019 16:46

No. This is not normal and needs to be checked out by a midwife. All the best

Call your midwife, it doesn’t sound right. Better safe than sorry.

BusterGonad · 22/10/2019 13:25

How are you @Andersonx3 ?

Andersonx3 · 22/10/2019 16:16

I had a bath just after posting this and curled up on the sofa, I felt a little better. Today's also been better, I had a bit of a spell at work and almost came home but overall I feel better. The whole office has been down with an awful cold, I've managed to avoid it but unsure if it's maybe just related to that. I have a MW appointment on Thursday so I think I'll see how I feel until then. Baby is as active as ever which is good, she's in her usual routine.

I'm a bit shocked that you didn't ring your midwife after all the comments saying it wasn't normal! 😬

Skyblues1 · 24/10/2019 10:16

Personally I wouldn't have waited and would've called my MW or triage. Good that you've felt movement though as that's ofcourse important. But a few hours monitoring in triage and a check over would've done no harm, the swelling seems very unusual.

Hope everything goes okay OP
