Two periods in one month trying to conceive

Can anyone help? I came off my depo injection back in March 2019. My periods returned in July, I had a normal cycle. Then in August had two periods with a one week gap in between. Went another 28 days, then in September/October the same happened again two periods within the space of a week.

Also I’m experiencing really bad breast pain, fullness after my period not before.

Trying to conceive but worrying this is hindering my chances.

Things can just take a while to settle down post long term contraception

Appreciate the reply. Any idea if it would hinder my chances of getting pregnant?

Yes, though only temporarily. Your health, the type of contraception you were using, and how long you were taking it can all affect the amount of time it will take to restore hormonal balance, regular menstruation and ability to conceive. The use of the depot in particular is associated with the longest period of poor fertility after discontinuation, with some women taking up to a year to see their bodies return to normal. Things WILL settle down soon
