Bleeding

Hi has anyone bled at 16 weeks or anywhere after the 12 week mark? Bled fir 3 days at 16 weeks then over a week now at 18 weeks. First blood was fresh red no clots no pain. Second is brown, a little pain, few clots.went to midwife first time and cervix was closed and heartbeat all good. Haven't been this time. 20 week scan on 4/11/19.😊
Any advice ?

You need to phone your midwife to be checked over especially as you have pain with it. Best to get checked out.
I had bright red blood at 12 weeks but no pain, baby was fine thankfully. They will probably call you in x

@helplessneedy I had some spotting at 18 weeks they told me to pop in and like you cervix and heart beat were fine. But. I really think you should call triage and get checked out, the worrying isn’t good for you just go and have them put your mind at rest.

Go get checked out esp with having pain it could be nothing but it could be something x

Go get checked please, both times this has happened it has caused my waters to rupture - bleeding can cause PPROM or can be a sign of infection. Please do not be fobbed off with the line "oh it is from intercourse". My baby died at 5 days old after being born premature (28 weeks + 4) and it was all started by bleeding

@TwittleBee very sorry to hear this. I pray this doesn't happen to me. I have called my local midwife and been told to go back to nearby town mat ward so called them and waiting for call back.

Went to see doctor and baby heartbeat is okay and they say the bleeding is normal. I was given antibiotics for a vaginal infection. Problem is today I've woken up in such pain like I'm on a period. I was at the doctors yesterday with no pain so I suspect it's the antibiotics. So confusing
