I think I'm pregnant... is it possible

4 weeks and a day ago, my ex and I had unprotected sex but he pulled out before he started to cum. A few days later I got common pregnancy type symptoms, eg: nausea, tender breasts, fatigue, mild cramp like pain, abdominal bloating. Normally my period is heavy, lasts for 5 days and I'm always on time however, when I got what I think was my period, it was a day late, really light and lasted for 3 days. A week later, I got the symptoms back along with a few more like a bit of weight gain, weird cravings, headaches and aversion to fish (that I normally love.) Is it possible that I'm l pregnant or could I be a false alarm...

How about doing a test?

BuffaloCauliflower · 21/10/2019 08:35

If you had unprotected sex, even if he pulled out, yes it’s possible. But the only way to know is to take a pregnancy test, so I’d get one as soon as possible.

AnneLovesGilbert · 21/10/2019 08:35

Take a pregnancy test.

CrotchetyQuaver · 21/10/2019 08:54

Of course it's possible. You need to do a test

GoldLeafTree · 21/10/2019 09:12

Unprotected sex = possibility of pregnancy.

Take a test, we can't tell you if you're pregnant or not.

nottodaysatanlucifer · 21/10/2019 09:14

My crystal ball says you should probably take a test to find out the answer...

BeanBag7 · 21/10/2019 09:14

Yes of course its possible. 4 weeks ago means you're able to do a test. Much more reliable than people on mumsnet guessing

Samosaurus · 21/10/2019 09:20

You can pick up tests from most supermarkets, also Amazon do same day delivery..

Walnutwhipster · 21/10/2019 09:24

You do realise pulling out isn't a reliable source of contraception, don't you?

RichTwoTurkeyFriend · 21/10/2019 09:34

FFS.
“ I had unprotected sex. Could I be pregnant?”
Really? You need to ask?

Moomin8 · 21/10/2019 09:36

If he pulled out in time it's not that likely but I would just do a test.

BrutusMcDogface · 21/10/2019 09:37

Sounds like you need to do a test!

I'm 35 and I say 'cum' Confused

Missbdhfc · 21/10/2019 10:44

People are being a little abrupt - she is technically a child herself.

You need to do a test and ensure you have sensible people you can trust around you.

Symptoms wouldn't appear 'in a few days'. If you have had your 'period' which might have been implantation bleeding then it's likely a test would be positive now if you are indeed pregnant.
Take care of yourself.

RottieInfo · 21/10/2019 10:46

Best to do a test to check. You can go to GUM clinics or get one for a quid in B&m and poundshops.

1WayOrAnother · 21/10/2019 10:47

OP do a test and get some support. You could very well be pregnant. Can you talk to your mum? I'd want to know if my 16yr old daughter was going through this.

@missyoumuch grow up.

Take a test, all the best OP Thanks

nataliemum25 · 21/10/2019 10:59

I think people need to watch what they are saying in here the way things are said is so rude, this girl is asking for help and sarcastic comments aren't helping her, is there a family planning centre you could go to and ask for a test or the drs, you really do need to take a test sweetheart if you think you are xx

LizzieMacQueen · 21/10/2019 11:28

It is possible yes, in answer to your question. You are really fertile at age 16. I notice he's now your ex, I hope you can rely on him for support. To echo a PP, please tell your mum or any older sibling, cousin, school nurse. Someone. You need to talk through your options.

Whattodoabout · 21/10/2019 11:32

Possible but unlikely. Pregnancy symptoms don’t happen ‘a few days’ after unprotected sex, it usually takes ten days for the blastocyst to even implant so your body would have no idea it was pregnant until then.

chewingpencils · 21/10/2019 11:36

This is really normal to worry about this kind of thing. You might be imagining most of these symptoms. You might be pregnant but there is a very good chance you are not.

Do a test and then take steps to make sure you don't have to go through this again.

TokyoSushi · 21/10/2019 11:39

You need to take a test, unprotected sex, pulling out or not = possible pregnancy, better to know and then you can seek support.
