Hi,

I just had a hot bath, not scalding but hot enough and I'm 5+4, now I've read online that I shouldn't and I'm really panicking! Is it as bad as I think it is?

Thanks advance for your help.

It was debunked. You can have hot baths. Just not so hot that you faint!

As long as it isnt hot to the point its burning then it should be fine I always have hot baths I have to to try and ease my achey back and I'm 26 weeks. Just try have them cooler than usual next time x

Baths naturally cool so don't raise your internal body temp (until things like saunas and jacuzzi) so fine.

The danger is more to you in case you overheat and faint

Thanks, I feel much better now!

I have a friend who was so worried about baths, she didn’t have a single bath until she gave birth. I’ve had one probably every night (my relaxation time!) since finding out I was pregnant and still have them warm and cosy. I’m 34 weeks almost and everything’s perfect.
