Please tell me your suggestions!!
Stuff to have when everyone else is having a glass of wine. Or even just when I fancy something posher than water that I can have in a nice glass with some ice!!!
Personally I like elderflower cordial and sparkling water, I think I need to go to a bigger supermarket and see what’s on offer!!

I like Fentimans pop

Fevertree flavoured tonics. I like the aromatics one.

Gordon's do ultra low alcohol (0.5%) flavoured gin and tonics in bottles which make them feel like a treat. I think they are so low alcohol that they could legally be labelled non alcoholic.

I also have a rhubarb and ginger drink from the co-op which is lovely.

Still can't go past a red grape Shloer myself I'm afraid!!

blackcat86 · 20/10/2019 09:15

It was shloer or appletiser all the way for me

flissity · 20/10/2019 09:17

I’ll look those up!! I love Appletiser. That’s my go to ‘pub’ drink these days. Haven’t tried Fentimans.

Sainbsury’s actual has some great alcohol free wines - they do a rose, a Sauvignon blanc wnd a sparkling wine. All of them are quite sweet but at least smell like the real deal which has been enough for me!

There is an alcohol free Prosecco called nosecco which is pretty good too

And alcohol free becks - becks blue is good

maybenextmonth · 20/10/2019 10:17

I second Nosecco, although it doesn't taste a thing like Prosecco and is really sweet. It's quite nice though. A little Elderflowery.

I also like to have a ginger beer or Fentimans Rose Lemonade

Think non-alcoholic drinks are really on the up. Never used to be anywhere near as much choice

Koppaburge do nice non-alcoholic cider too, there isn't much difference. I second non-alcoholic Prosecco if you fancy something with a bit of fizz especially for special occasions.

vickielisabeth · 20/10/2019 11:44

Belvoir do some really nice ones, had a cucumber and mint sparkling one this week and a juniper and tonic which was a nice alternative to g&t

Maybbabi · 20/10/2019 12:12

Non-alcoholic beer (majority are fab. I really like Peroni 0%.) Non-alcoholic wine (I like Eins Zwei Zero from Waitrose.) Ginger beer, cordial with sparkling water, Virgin Mary etc... with Christmas coming up there soon should be some nice winter punches for sale (Belvoir does one) and non-alcoholic mulled wine.

I’m 25 weeks now and am so used to not drinking that I just pick anything I fancy at the time. I also allow myself the odd sip of wine so if I’m out for a meal and my husband orders a glass of red, I’ll have sparkling water and will also pour a very tiny bit into a glass and enjoy that.

I found most alcohol free wines taste like shit Blush
Then I discovered the Freixenet stuff. Expensive for alcohol free but makes me forget I'm not actually drinking

Home made pina coladas! Big glass, ice, straw, umbrella, makes me happy.
Pineapples seem to be cheap right now too, chop one up, freeze, then blend a handful of frozen chunks with coconut milk and pineapple juice 😋

I’m stuck on water with HG but I’m not a huge drinker in non pregnant life either. Morrison’s do a delicious raspberry lemonade, it’s so nice! And I make alcohol free Pina Coladas too.. Grin

Weathergirl1 · 20/10/2019 17:55

Second vote for Fevertree. Especially their light ginger beer - it's especially good if you have a cold as it properly blows your head off!

Appletiser did some different flavours over the summer in cans. Not sure if they're still in the shops or not, but there was one with lime and mint, and another with mango in that were lovely.

flissity · 20/10/2019 17:56

Definitely will try a virgin pina colada!

So many great suggestions thanks
