Clear blue, no control line

So I have done two clear blue tests, both have come up negative, but neither have had the control line?!
What am I doing wrong? The second one I did get some urine on the window, could that have caused the no control line

For info, I'm 8 days late. Have had a stressful month however, so am hoping thats the cause, but now I'm stressing I could be pregnant?
I've never had tests with no control line before

Actually with the flash I think I see a faint control line.

Anyone else see it and also agree I am most definitely not pregnant?

I can see a darker patch but I cannot see a line in that window. I’d still think that is negative though.

Hi I appreciate this is an old post could I get peoples opinions on my test I think I’m 3 days late and have used the test that can show result 6 days before missed period

Too much urine can affect these tests.

It’s better to Wee into a pot and dip the stick in for 15 seconds then put the top back on and leave it on the side for a minute x

What eneded up happening? I've just tested and I've got the same problem. I've had symptoms I'm 16dpo and I usually come on early than expected. Please tell me its just a bad test and there is still hope :( x

I took a clear blue test and no control line appeared , so I thought it was an invalid test , however now as I am grabbing through my bag the control line appears very strong and then there is a second faint line in the test window?! I’m confused wether I’m pregnant or not I had a faint line test like this 2 weeks ago aswell

What does this mean after sometime took back from my bin and I see this a faded line . I’m so confused.

I would test again tomorrow first thing, only read the test after and within the permitted time. Fingers crossed
