TTC after a miscarriage

I am trying to conceive again after a miscarriage. I have bought ovulation tests and had a dark line on Monday but not sure if this is a positive?!

It won’t let me add a photo. Says need to wait 28 days to be allowed that option

Sorry to hear about your loss. How long ago did you miscarry ? Reason I ask is because if it was recently it could be left over HCG that is causing you to have a false positive on your ovulation sticks

It was 16 days after the start of the miscarriage and the pregnancy test I took at the same time was completely negative.

Could be then if your pregnancy test was negative.
Was the dark line on the ovulation test darker or same darkness as the test line ?

It was exactly the same in darkness. Until that day there had been a very faint second line. Then after the very dark line it faded again.

Sorry to hear about your loss. My advice, have sex once a day for the middle couple of weeks, you won't miss your ovulation then. This is what I did and got pregnant straight away the next cycle, difficult to date though as I had to take the first day of miscarriage rather than lmp. I'm 18 weeks now and so far, so good 🤞 Sounds like you're ovulating. But I would have sex a good few days either side, every day.

Yep, the dark line is when your hormones surge and the next few days after is when to have sex apparently, but i have sex all around the time just to be sure

I got pregnant 3 weeks after end of miscarriage. I can't say I did opks I was breaking from it, although I did look at my period tracker and we conceived in the middle of when I was supposidly ovulating.

@MaisyG2000 I am also ttc after two miscarriages(first in may and second In July this year) I'm currently 15dpo and have had brown spotting since yesterday( it's getting lighter and only there when I wipe after peeing) took a test yesterday and it came back bfn, took another two today ( yes poas addict lol) and now I'm even more confused as the first one a hcg test strip there is a very faint line but I think it might be a evap line as I also took a frer and it came back negative so very confused 🤷‍♀️ 🙄

I’m due my period by Wednesday so if nothing will take a test Thursday. Next month I’ll go for it every day in the middle two weeks as suggested above. I wanted to take an early detection test but have been told they are only really 50-60% reliable 5 days before period.

@MaisyG2000 yeah I would suggest waiting till your af is due and if no show test!! Hope you get your bfp, I'm kind of in limbo right now myself excited but also scared

It’s rubbish eh?! Wish it was easier to fall. When I read that there’s only a 20% chance every month it makes me think it’ll possibly be years till I manage again after the MC. I’ll keep trying though

@MaisyG2000 don't give up I know I'm not 😂😉 yeah the statistics are not great but I don't care about statistics because none of the women in the study for that were me, and they were not you, each women is different and our time will come for our🌈baby's x

So yesterday slight cramp but not as bad as I usually get the day before or day of period and sore boobs. If no period by tomorrow I’ll take an early test. Just wish period and pregnancy signs were completely different. That would make life easier lol
