Unsure if I had a miscarriage

I bled for a week. Then took a test a week later which was negative then after 5 minutes turned positive. Then I kept taking them for a few days until I got a complete negative. But I haven't had a period yet. Would I be expected to have had one?

When was your period due?

How long were you supposed to wait for a result on the test you took ? The instructions normally tell you how long it takes to get an accurate result. You said the test was negative, then after 5 minutes it was positive. Which makes me think that you were leaving it for 5 minutes after the correct result time. This makes the result invalid, because even a totally negative result can change to read positive after you've left it for 5 minutes longer than the proper time.

I'd just wait until about 4 weeks after the date of the bleed - most likely you'll get a period then .

Sounds like you might have had a chemical pregnancy. If this is the case, your period should return next months as usual. Sorry you’ve been through this. Hope you’re ok.

Last week but it had been irregular since I was on the mini pill without knowing about the pregnancy

There was only one complete negative that didn't change. That's what's confusing me. The only tiems they've turned positive for me I've been pregnant but one didn't at all
