Hi everyone,
Going to collect the babies car seat this weekend! Just wondering as we have two cars who’s car would be best to initially fit it. I think my husbands as if say i end up with a section i can’t drive for 6weeks anyway and obviously i won’t want to drive home from the hospital.
He thinks mine as once he is back at work then obviously it will be me driving the baby anywhere we need to go!

It will need to go in whichever car you're coming home from the hospital in surely? I assume that would be husbands, as even without a section youd be unlikely to drive yourself home. Car seats are easy to fit though, you should have no trouble switching it from one car to another.

If you're using isofix then surely you'd fit it in the car that will be used the most? Can your husband not drive you home in your car?

he can drive my car so no problem there. We do have an isofix base bit as this is our first I wasn’t sure how easy it was to move from car to car. I assumed it should be easy enough but wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something obvious!

It'll be perfectly fine to move between cars once your DH goes back to work. It's one of those tasks you wouldn't want to do every week but even once a week wouldn't bother me (5 minute job at the very most once you know how to do it).

Your car and then your DH can drive you to and from hospital in yours surely?
