Trying to conceive after depo!

Hi everyone!! Could anyone share their stories about trying to conceive after stopping the depo injection? I was on it for just over a year and stopped it just over 3 months ago. Going to start trying for a baby but I don't think it will happen any time soon 😔😔

I’ve been on it between all 3 of mine - I had 3 children in 5 years.

DC1 - conceived 7 weeks after my last injection
DC2 - conceived 17 months after my last injection but 12 months after my periods returned and I was still breastfeeding in that time so probably within the zone of normal.
DC3 - conceived 6 months after my last injection. Also still breastfeeding in that time.

I went back on the depo between each pregnancy.

Wow that's such a different range of time it took! That's very helpful though, thankyou. It's so hard to even work out the right timings a month.
I just feel it will take a while x

I took ages. 17 months after last injection (so 14 months after it officially ran out) before I had a period. Another 6 months of really irregular ones (15 to 39 day cycles) but then once they became regular again only took 3 months. But overall last injection November 2012, conceived February 2015.

That is soo long!! But it will happen for me when the time is right I guess, just going to go with the flow x
