Sorry for TMI but at the beginning of this year i had a severe few outbreaks of genital herpes. Never had them before but my immune system was very low from lots of tablets and stress, i had them straight for about 2 months. Since then i haven't had an outbreak since which is good.
I know i carry the virus so have been told to take acyclovir during the third trimester as i won't be able to have a normal birth if i have an outbreak.
Question i'm asking is, since having the outbreaks my skin has gone very thin down there and sometimes when me and my partner have sex i get a slight cut which i never had before the herpe outbreaks.
I'm worried if i have a normal labour i will end up tearing really bad, has anyone had any experience of this?
