I’ve had a second BFP this morning at 11dpo and was wondering if anyone else was in a similar position and wanted to have some company in these nervy early days?

Zeldetta · 18/10/2019 14:31

Yes it is :) how about you?

Zeldetta · 19/10/2019 09:40

No I have a 17 month old daughter, she will have just turned two if this pregnancy sticks 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Ah that'll be a nice age gap for your daughter to have a sibling.

I think it's probably psychological but I haven't felt quite right today. Just a bit "off" can't put finger on it. Although have had quite an active day so perhaps it's just that.

Hello lovelies, I found out that I was pregnant week before last (on my 31st birthday!) not planned but I am over the moon!!

My due date is June 2020.

I am sooooooo worried about loosing my little bean but I know these worries are only natural.

Company through this time is much needed Smile xxx

lulu1106 · 19/10/2019 22:51

Hello :)
Congratulations!! I'm due June 2020 too! It feels so far away.. only found out last week (1st child)
I agree company is always good, as I don't want to tell anyone yet (personal choice)
xx

Zeldetta · 20/10/2019 09:04

Hi dougal and lulu! Congratulations Smile. It is so worrying isn’t it - for my last pregnancy someone taught me the mantra “the odds are with you not against you” and I really held onto that because I was so scared of something going wrong but had to remember it was more likely that it wouldn’t.

Do you know your actual due dates?

I hope you’re feeling better asba Flowers

Hi Zeldetta

It’s so so worrying but yes I’ve heard the same saying so I’m trying to hold on to that!

I’m due around the 13th of June 2020 Grin

lulu1106 · 20/10/2019 09:17

Hi Zeldetta,
That is such a good saying and way of thinking, I'm just trying to be as positive as possible.
My due date is approx 11 June 2020!
Got my first scan in two weeks Smile

Have you guys had much morning sickness?
I've been feeling nauseous but not physically sick!

Dougal88 · 20/10/2019 09:21

No, none at all, I’ve felt nauseous on and off but that’s about it, again I worry because of that!

The only symptom I’ve had are swollen and tender breasts but that isn’t every day.

Have you had any other symptoms?

Absa · 20/10/2019 09:41

@Zeldetta as soon as I ate some tea last night I felt fine. And feel fine today. Am actually wondering if it was the pregnacare I took - have been forgetting to take it lately (am on folic acid separately anyway) and then took yesterday lunch time and wondering if that's what made me feel a bit off colour. Going to try taking it at night instead today.
According to NHS website, my EDD is 27th June. I thought I would be July based on when I thought I conceived but didn't realise that the "weeks" of pregnancy include from first day of period. So end of June for me.

lulu1106 · 20/10/2019 09:48

@Dougal88 same! Breasts have been quite sore only started a few days ago and the only other symptom is I've been peeing quite a lot!
I went the drs last week and they did the blood tests and booked me in for a scan in two weeks... still quite early!
I think just thinking positively is the best thing to do, my sister fell pregnant in March/April and she did worry a little in trimester 1 but everything is fine touch would she is going to have a beautiful baby girl in Dec- pregnancy is going really well for her and she didn't have much morning sickness!
Have you booked a scan?

Dougal88 · 20/10/2019 10:54

@lulu1106 great to hear re your sister Grin . Is it a dating scan or well being scan that you have booked?

I had a scan on Friday just gone after experiencing cramping, I was very impressed with how quickly they saw me. All was fine and the tech was happy with what they saw, I saw the sac with a yolk sac (I’m still worrying though!) my next scan will be at 12 weeks eeeek it’s such a long wait!! Xx

kahstorm · 20/10/2019 15:29

Hi everyone. Do you mind if I join? I found out I am pregnant on Thursday. Due date is 25th June based on last period. I suffered a missed miscarriage last year in July (found out on my birthday as treated myself to a private scan). I have decided to not to scan early this time and just take things in my stride. Very excited to actually fall pregnant again as it taken over a year! Best wishes to all of you x

Zeldetta · 20/10/2019 20:04

Welcome kahstorm! So sorry about your miscarriage Flowers

lulu1106 · 21/10/2019 12:26

@Dougal88 my first scan will be the dating scan (I'll be approx 8 weeks) got it next week! Really nervous and excited...
Does the dating scan check for a heartbeat?

That's really good that all went well with your first scan! 12 weeks so exciting! It does feel so long away, I think we are very close together in weeks by the sounds of our estimated due dates!

@kahstorm Welcome!!Smile sorry to hear about last year:( but great news with the recent pregnancy, how exciting!
