Hi guys how are you? Just wondering if anyone has any safe pregnancy tips for getting rid of vaginitis or extreme thrush. I am waiting for some tests (swabs) to come back to confirm what it is but haven't really been told what I can do in the meantime. The only thing I have been told is to use yogurt in my private area which seems to help a lil bit but just wondered if anyone else had any other tips. Thanks in advance x

@HappyMummy82 i've had thrush off the back of a urine infection and was told by midwife i can use the canesten pessary and cream. I was told not to use the applicator to insert the pessary and use your finger instead. I've heard of the yogurt thing but not sure how effective that really is x

I've used a probiotic called 'Optibac' after seeing someone recommend it on here - you can get a small bottle from amazon (14 tablets I think for about a tenner). The bottle says they are safe for pregnancy but perhaps just check with midwife first. I can't recommend them highly enough, clears up any issues straight away for me.
